Testimonials from Engineering

For gh.plan-quadrat Bestandsaufnahmen from Wels, a 3D visualization software for the web was developed that enables the display and analysis of point cloud recordings. The application allows the precise and interactive visualization of complex 3D data directly in the browser – without additional software installation. It thus supports Planquadrat and its partners in spatial analysis, planning, and documentation at the highest technical level.

Plan Quadrat 3D Visualization Software

For gh.plan-quadrat Bestandsaufnahmen from Wels, a comprehensive 360° photo documentation software was developed for web, desktop, and mobile devices. The solution enables exact and immersive recordings of entire rooms and objects in high image quality, with realistic panoramas and seamless navigation. It thus supports third-party customers with presentations, virtual tours, and detailed analysis of rooms and projects.

For many years, we at BeKa Software have played a key role in software development for DS Automotion and realize innovative solutions together in the field of driverless transport systems and autonomous mobile robots. The Linz-based company DS Automotion has been one of the internationally leading providers of Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) for internal material flow for around four decades.

The KAPPEMA connector (or KAPPEMA wave) is an element of a connection system for double walls and offers an alternative to the conventional lattice girder, where the KAPPEMA wave allows a reduction in total weight with the same stability. For efficient use of this system, it is necessary to determine the number and position of KAPPEMA waves based on the given wall geometry, taking into account a multitude of boundary conditions and a specified type of displacement on the construction site. This should preferably be carried out automatically as part of the elementation. Therefore, a direct integration into Planbar (Nemetschek) was developed, where parameters of the laying can be changed and results displayed via an additional interface.

REPRECT GmbH has developed TOPSTEPS, a standing, modular staircase formwork for the industrial production of high-quality reinforced concrete stairs. The formwork consists of a series of reusable steel components, which are positioned and completed with individual wooden milled parts. In addition, type reinforcement based on prefabricated reinforcement elements is available. The operation of the formwork should be possible by means of an integrated software package without the use of conventional CAD. For this purpose, the Precast Server (PCS) was developed on the basis of CLAIRE, which covers almost the entire range of functions – a staircase is recorded parametrically and displayed as a 3D model. In the course of recording, the reinforcement is automatically generated based on type statics and typical built-in parts such as lifting and transport anchors are installed. Once the staircase is released for production, any plan documents (construction, detail, reinforcement) can be automatically generated using a description language. Stairs can be scheduled for production via a calendar that forms a matrix of formwork hardware and production day, whereby different optimization strategies can be pursued. For a planned staircase, the formwork configuration can be displayed in 3D and the individual milled parts can be retrieved in the machine's CAM format.
